Leftover Smoked Turkey Chowder
My husband and I discovered this recipe after having way too many Thanksgiving leftovers and getting sick of eating the same thing for days on end. By giving it a different format and introducing stock, it had all the flavors of the smoked turkey dinner but was visually unique so we could trick ourselves into thinking it was something new. I loved the way the mashed potatoes added a silky texture and how it came together as a chowder. Besides, you can’t freeze mashed potatoes; they just get grainy! Please enjoy.
